Mobilizing the Whole Church
With the Power of the Whole Gospel
To Change the Whole World.

Through Outreach, we put the gospel into action by identifying needs in our community and responding with care and support and relationship-based ministry. We aim to do ministry the way Jesus did to have the greatest kingdom impact possible.

THANK YOU FOR BEING PART OF SERVEDAY 2019!

SERVE.jpg

On ServeDay, we mobilize the whole church to bring much needed facility upgrades to a local school to help create an environment where students and teachers can succeed. More than 1,400 people turned out to serve together to help build a more beautiful community.

ABOUT THE SCHOOL

As a Title 1 school, San Juan Elementary receives federal funding due to its high concentration of students living at or below the poverty level.

Furthermore, the reading level is 1.5 years behind grade level. It is uniquely situated in the heart of San Juan Capistrano among the most wealthy neighborhoods in South County.

Established in 1850, San Juan Elementary school is the oldest school site in Orange County. It has not been renovated since 1963.

Serving together alongside school families and faculty and the church communities of Mariners Mission Life and Mariners Ranch, we will help to beautify and dignify this historic site.

SERVEDAY LEGACY

ServeDay was born out of the hope to mobilize the whole church to make a significant impact in the community. Over the past five years, we have gone Above & Beyond in our care and support of the schools, students and faculty.

ABOVE & BEYOND

Our work in the community through Outreach is funded Above & Beyond your regular offering. As Mariners Mission Life launches into new areas of ministry through Outreach, we have the opportunity to actively follow Jesus’ example and stand with the poor, the marginalized, and the forgotten.

Thank you for your generosity.
